On Point: Topography's New Look
If you’ve grabbed a Topography Trailblazer recently, you might’ve noticed we’re sporting a new look. We’ve decided to emblazon our namesake along the top of every can to honor our roots and make it easier to find our drinks. You’ll see “Topography” featured prominently on all our beverages moving forward (including those that haven’t been announced yet—stay tuned)!
What is Topography? And why did we choose it?
Let’s start with the dictionary’s definition of topography:
topography /tə-pŏg′rə-fē/ noun
- the art or science of making maps that show the height, shape, etc., of the land in a particular area
- the features (such as mountains and rivers) in an area of land
In short, topography refers to the shape of the land and how we represent it. When we were creating our hemp drinks, this link between the land and our experiences with it became the foundation of our identity. This link sets us apart, and we wanted to celebrate it in our name.
